Summer Handicap Series
The Summer Series is run on Sundays in May, June and July. Two races are planned for each Sunday afternoon of the series, these races follow the RNLI Pursuit Series race in the morning. The first race will start after lunch, commencing no earlier than 13:00hrs. There will usually be a short the break between the two races (for tea and cake). Racing is in one fleet, comprising Streaker, Fast, Medium and Slow.
Results will be shown as one series, with individual fleets identified, so that an overall series winner as well as fleet winners can be seen.
The trophies for this series, and a record of recent winners, can be viewed in the Trophy Cabinet on the Club's website. You are required to be logged in to view the Trophy Cabinet.
The Summer Junior Hart Cup Series runs alongside the Summer Series. For this series junior sailors start with the Summer Series Bronze Handicap Fleet and finish after one lap. Those wishing to also compete in the Summer Series are able to continue racing until the Summer Series Bronze Fleet is finished. Junior Hart Cup Trophy here. Please note that RNLI Pursuit Series and Summer Series racing are interspersed with a range of one/two-day events including the Methusaleh and In-betweeners Event; The Commodore's Weekend; and the Fleet Trophies Event. Please check the Club events Calendar to ensure you know what's going on.
