    Family Weekend! 27-28th July

    Come along to our family weekend on Saturday and Sunday 27-28th July. Camping will be available on the Friday and Saturday nights. This is a great social weekend to enjoy a relaxing side of the club with fellow club members. Plenty of fun for all the family to enjoy!     Bart's Bash Sunday 15th September

    We will once again be supporting Bart's Bash on Sunday 15th of September. Last year there were 710 dinghies entered in the UK races and Ripon Boats achieved results from 225 to 580. Money donated directly or on the day will be passed on to the Andrew Simpson Foundation and will go towards helping many young people get afloat and enjoy sailing all around the UK.   • Fleet Trophies Day - 7th July

    Sunday 7th July is our Fleet Trophies day. There will be trophies for the following classes: Laser/ILCA, Streaker, Mirror, Solo, Enterprise, Topper, Supernova and the All Comer's Trophy for anyone else. There is a minumum of three boats required per class to qualify for a trophy race. Lower numbers than this will be included in the All Comers Fleet. For more details see here .   • Race Officer and other Duties - Please sign up!

    We have quite a few weekends and Wednesday evenings coming up with a number of vacancies for various duties. If you have not yet signed up for a duty, please do so as otherwise it will be very difficult to run the racing programme. Very often, committee members and others have to step in at short notice and forgo their racing to allow others to sail. I will again repeat my offer to help

    The club is looking forward to hosting the next round in the regional youth traveller series on Saturday 27 April.   • Easter Egg Gold/Silver/Bronze Regatta Sunday 31st March

    We will be following the success of last year's Easter Egg Regatta with the same event this coming Sunday, 31st March. Depending on numbers there may be a single or split fleet start, but results will be split into Gold/Silver/Bronze at the RO's discretion. Chocolate prizes will be given out on the day, so come and join the fun! First race will be at 11.00 with races 2&3 after lunch and not before 13.00 hrs.

  • Latest news - More sprint racing, RO training and we want your trophies back!

    The next sprint race trial will be on Sunday 10th March. Please be rigged and ready to start at 10.30a.m. We will run a number of races to finish around 12.30.
