    COMMODORE'S WEEKEND AND PRIZE-GIVING Saturday 8th & Sunday 9th June 2024

  • Race Officer and other Duties - Please sign up!

    We have quite a few weekends and Wednesday evenings coming up with a number of vacancies for various duties. If you have not yet signed up for a duty, please do so as otherwise it will be very difficult to run the racing programme. Very often, committee members and others have to step in at short notice and forgo their racing to allow others to sail. I will again repeat my offer to help

    Youth & Junior Open Meeting

    The club is looking forward to hosting the next round in the regional youth traveller series on Saturday 27 April. There is already a strong entry from #teamripon who are looking to build on their successful start to the series last weekend at West Riding where they placed 2 in the top 3 and a 2nd in the Regatta division as well as some good early season showings from some of the other members

  • St.Georges Day Regatta and Methuselah Events

  • Streaker Open, Champion of Champions Trophy and Revised Morning Race Start times

  • Easter Egg Gold/Silver/Bronze Regatta Sunday 31st March

    We will be following the success of last year's Easter Egg Regatta with the same event this coming Sunday, 31st March. Depending on numbers there may be a single or split fleet start, but results will be split into Gold/Silver/Bronze at the RO's discretion. Chocolate prizes will be given out on the day, so come and join the fun! First race will be at 11.00 with races 2&3 after lunch and not before 13.00 hrs.

  • Latest news - More sprint racing, RO training and we want your trophies back!

    The next sprint race trial will be on Sunday 10th March. Please be rigged and ready to start at 10.30a.m. We will run a number of races to finish around 12.30.     Final Slipway Concreting Work Party this Saturday 24th February 2024.

    Following last Saturday's very well supported concrete work party where three bays were concreted we now have just two bays remaining to finish the slipway works. I would like to thank every member who has helped undertake these works, the new slipway has made a massive difference to the launching of boats. One final push is required to complete the job.   • Short Format Racing Trials Sunday 18th February

    As you may know, we are looking to introduce short format racing within the racing programme later in the year. This is seen as a way of providing an exciting alternative to normal racing as well as a stepping stone for new sailors to transition into the main fleet racing.   • February Working Parties and Safety Boat Refreshers

    We have three working parties scheduled for February. We have had tremendous support for the January events but there is still a lot to do!
