Family Weekend Part 2 - Sunday
Sunday morning started with an on the water Quidditch match sailed between Gryffindor and Ravenclaw (or Reds v Blues for the more boring grownups). Each team used 1 topper (seeker[s]); 2 club oppies (beaters); and 3 teras (chasers). Family Weekend Part 1 - Friday & Saturday
Ripon Sailing Club's Family Weekend ran from Friday 14 th to Sunday 16 th August. The weekend started with some casual sailing on the Friday afternoon/evening. Race Series Summary
As we move into the summer holidays and the Holiday Series racing its time for a quick look back at what's happened in the racing calendar so far. The Icicle series is now a distant memory, Wednesday evening series 1 has been completed and the Saturday, Sunday and WAGALERS Spring and Summer series have also all finished. A total of 88 sailors have taken part in at least one of the 92 series races,

MidSummer Medley Part 2 The Fleets Trophies
After the excitement of the 9-5 Race on Saturday, Sunday saw a very different style of racing during the Fleets Trophies. This year we had class racing for Streakers, Solos, Supernovas and Optimists, although the Streaker fleet was reduced by several sailors being away at the Nationals which also removed one of the family rivalries from the water. MidSummer Medley Part 1 - The 9-5 Race
Day 1 of the MidSummer Medley weekend saw 6 club teams joined by a team from Harrogate Sea Cadets to compete in the 9-5 Team Relay race. ROTTERS Lite at Half Term
We were treated to some fantastic weather over the May half term, which meant that we were able to run ROTTERS Lite sessions on both Saturdays. Commodore's Weekend Saturday 6th & Sunday 7th June
Get this weekend in your diary!! Camping (Friday-Sunday), prize giving & socials (bar, karaoke & music), Racing for the Commodores cup (3 races each day).
