Junior Hart Cup Series

The Junior Hart Cup Series is run on Sundays in May, June and July. Two races for under 16 year olds, are planned for each Sunday afternoon of the series.

This series is run alongside the Summer Series (which is open to adults and juniors) and the two afternoon races follow the RNLI Pursuit Series race in the morning. This Pursuit Race series is ideal for newcomers to racing. The first race will start after lunch, commencing no earlier than 13:00hrs. For this series junior sailors start with the Summer Series Slow Handicap Fleet and finish after one lap. Those wishing to also compete in the Summer Series are able to continue racing until the Summer Series Slow Fleet is finished.

There will usually be a short the break between the two races. The results for the Hart Cup fleet will be calculated based the PY of each dinghy in that fleet. Please note that RNLI Pursuit, Summer and Junior Hart Cup Series racing is interspersed with a range of one/two-day events including the Methusaleh and In-betweeners Event; The Commodore's Weekend; and the Fleet Trophies Event.
