Discover Sailing

On Saturday 25th April 2026, we will join many other RYA affiliated clubs hosting a 'Discover Sailing' event.

This is always a big day in the club diary and we need YOUR help to make it a success. We need volunteers for a range of roles from welcoming visitors; taking them out for a 'trip around the bay' in one of our club dinghies; answering questions about our sport; showcasing the range of dinghies and radio controlled yachts sailed at the club; helping with on-shore activities or looking after the bar.... there's a role for everyone! We will be open for visitors between 10am and 4pm. There will be a briefing for helpers at 9am.

PLEASE HELP US ADVERTISE THIS EVENT

Printed posters and postcards should be available at the club in a couple of weeks.

These can be displayed at your local swimming pool, school, village hall, village notice board etc.
