A busy AGM sees a new Commodore elected

Published 19:09 on 27 Jan 2019

The clubhouse was full this afternoon as the AGM took place. With reports from the outgoing Commodore, Bernard Clark, and outgoing Treasurer Janet Bates the meeting also passed a number of committee proposals designed to make minor changes to membership categories and to streamline the associated admin processes. Peter Robinson (Sailing Secretary) gave a presentation on the club programme for 2019 and members elected a new Committee, to be led by Commodore Jamie Kerslake. Richard Pryke was thanked for his time in the role of Facilities Manager, and James MacLean was welcomed as his successor. Janet Bates will remain part of the Treasury team working with Claire Newcombe and our new Treasurer Graham Horton. John Shirtliff and Brian Laurance join committee as committee members and Stuart O'Rourke takes on the role of Systems Manager from Jamie. Here's to 2019!
