Streaker Open, Champion of Champions Trophy and Revised Morning Race Start times

Just a reminder that our Streaker Open is this Saturday, 6th April and we are expecting good support from home boats!

Our Champion of Champions Trophy for those qualifying in 2023 will be held on Sunday 14th April. A list of those eligible in either the senior or junior category can be found here. For those not in this category, you can sail in the accompanying 'Others' series which will have a separate start.

Finally, following the series of three sprint race trials, we did not have enough support to justify running a race over the extended lunch break after the RNLI pursuit series. Thanks to all who did come and try sprint racing and it is something we may come back to in the future. As a result, club races will now start at 11.30 on Sundays, with afternoon races not before 13.30. The aim is to allow those with morning activities elsewhere to be able to make afternoon racing more easily than when we had a 13.00 start and hopefully get more boats on the water. This will take effect from the final races in the Spring Series on 7th April. We will review the results of this after the end of the Summer Series on 30th of June. You will see that after this date, start times show 11.00 until we confirm whether we will retain this later start time for the rest of the season.

Please note that start times for Commodore's weekend, on 8th and 9th June, which incorporates the prize giving, will remain at 11.00 for Saturday and Sunday.
