Wagalers - the last day of the Autumn Handicap Series

Today we celebrated the last day of the Wagalers Autumn Handicap Series with 24 boats on the water, the series prize-giving and a delicious contribution buffet.
Arthur Nowell won the Silver fleet rosette and David Wyvill won the Bronze fleet. Chris Wright won gold but was absent, apparently busy getting in shape in preparation for Sunday's Champion of Champions Event.
Wagalers Occasional Winter Series (WOWS) begins on Wednesday 1 November, weather permitting, with an earlier time of 13.00. Based on the forecast and providing that there are volunteers to do RO & SB duty, Wednesday WOWS racing will be confirmed via the Wagalers' Whatsapp Group on the Tuesday morning.
