National Lockdown - January 2021

It will come as no surprise to members that following the Prime Minister's announcement yesterday evening, Ripon Sailing Club must close once again to support the national effort in reducing the spread of COVID19. Whilst the RYA are still seeking clarification on some issues, the wording around outdoor sports venues is clear; All outdoor sports clubs, centres, venues and facilities will need to close, alongside indoor facilities. As of Wednesday 6th January 2021, our access system will be switched off and access to the grounds, water and facilities of Ripon Sailing Club will be prohibited until further notice. Should members require urgent access to the site for any reason, please contact me directly before you travel. Maintenance checks will be undertaken by committee members.
