Tony Cawood 1945 -2025 - Funeral arrangements

Further to the announcement of the death of Tony Cawood on Thursday 6th March, aged 80 years, his family have announced details of the funeral as follows:

Tuesday 25th March at 11.40a.m., Stonefall Crematorium, Wetherby Road, Harrogate, HG3 1DE. Family flowers only.

Tony was one of the founder members of the club, a past Commodore and part of the team who managed the refurbishment of the club in 2014. Tony also held many Committee positions at the club and we should all be very grateful for the many hours he spent helping to make our sailing club what it is today.

In his sailing days Tony and his wife Marion raced their Enterprise with much success for many years and were certainly very quick. They were a great team both on and off the water and Tony will be very much missed at the Club.
