Reporting Back On Sailing Forum 2026
Published 17:08 on 4 Nov 2026
Thank you to everyone who took part in the 2026 Sailing Forums. Their purpose is for members to discuss and voice opinions about all aspects of sailing at the club; what's going well and ideas for improvements. This year there was a forum on Saturday in addition to the usual Sunday. This certainly boosted participation with a total of 41 members taking part. The range of topics covered was also considerably enlarged with very little overlap between the two days. A summary of the discussions is provided below and the full record is in the Members Portal.
The next stage is to follow up on the suggestions, there are several 'quick wins' that can be implemented very quickly. Other issues are more complex and these will contribute to the 5 Year plan that is due for publication in January.
