Mike Rimmer

It is with sadness that we report the death of Mike Rimmer. Mike has been part of the northern sailing scene for so long, sailing a wide range of dinghies and making covers and sails under his Sail Register trademark for just about anything - 'bring it over and I'll make it to fit' being his watchwords for anything at all non-standard. He will be sadly missed for his knowledge and love of our sport, but also for his sportsmanship and unconventional take on sailing life sailing in his slippers and using anti-fouling instead of yacht paint being just two memories of his visits to Streaker Open meetings at RSC.
