It's not quite Irma but . . .

the first 'autumn storm' is due to hit us today and strong winds are forecast. Please make sure you've checked your boat and that it is securely tied down to prevent damage to it, or to it's neighbours. It's the time of year to make sure you have got your cover on the boat, that it's well fitted and that the boat is in a position where it can drain if water does get in. Please don't let your boat be one of those that end up unusable in the spring after a winter of neglect!
