Managing the club's finances is one of the key activities undertaken by the Committee. Increasingly it's becoming far more than a 1 person job, and for next year we've got a team ready to work together but we need someone to lead the Treasury team and be our nominated 'Hon Treasurer'. You'd need to represent the team at Committee meetings and report to committee on the financial situation. You'd also need to be prepared to present the accounts at the AGM and take questions from the membership about the accounts. Knowledge of Xero would be helpful as we are just moving over to that accounting package from SAGE as it offers the ability to work on a cloud based system and to share access across the team.
