Supported Sailing: 2 groups, 7-12yrs and 12yrs+/adults

DUE TO THE EXPECTED BREEZY CONDITIONS FORECAST FOR SATURDAY, THE BOOKINGS HAVE BEEN TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED AS THE INSTRUCTOR TEAM WISH TO KEEP THE GROUP SIZE SMALL AND MANAGEABLE. THE 8 MEMBERS WHO HAVE ALREADY BOOKED SHOULD TURN UP AS PLANNED AS THE SESSION WILL RUN.
IF THE PREDICTED WIND FORECAST EASES, THE TICKETS WILL BE REOPENED FOR BOOKING ON FRIDAY EVENING.

Saturday Supported Sailing: 11:00 16:00
Cost £12 per person plus boat hire.
Participants are expected to attend the whole session.
This is for members who have RYA Junior St1, or St2, or Adult Level 1 but not St3 or L2. These sailors can only hire a club boat whilst directly supervised by an Instructor or coach.
Supported sailing sessions will start at 11:00 prompt with a briefing in the clubhouse by the instructor leading the day. The day will end at 16:00
The cost for day is £12. which includes buoyancy aid and helmet if needed.
Participation tickets MUST be booked in advance.
Boat hire MUST be booked in advance. Boat hire tickets are with the Leisure Sailing activity.
Bookings close at 12 noon on the Friday before.
There will be 6 places per instructor.
Some sessions may be specifically for Juniors or Adults.
Dinghies should be rigged and ready for the start time, brought to the foreshore to be checked before launching. Please allow 45 minutes for this, longer if you have several boats to rig for your family.
We will be running two groups on this day. If there are no remaining places for the group you wish, please contact training@ripon-sc.org.uk as there may be some "juggle room" between the groups.Last updated 6:11pm on 7 May 2024
