Midsummer Medley 11th July
This is a fun event designed to bring together sailors from a wide range of experience and ages for a day of light hearted, competitive racing in double-hander dinghies. It was very much enjoyed by all the participants the last time it was run.
On the Day:
- Participants will be allocated into Teams by the Race Officer, who will aim to provide a reasonable balance between the teams. Around 6 is the ideal number in a team.
- The Teams will race against each other with regular changeover of crews and boats. The aim is to complete as many laps as possible in the '8hrs' allowed.
- The race will start no earlier than 10am and finish by 6pm.
- More details will be provided as the number of participants is known.
To take part:
- Sign up by booking yourself a ticket it's free of charge, but this lets us keep track of names and numbers.
- Encourage your friends and family to sign up as well. You may not be in the same team (but might be if you really want that).
