Drowning

Club Members who suffer trauma or lose consciousness whilst in the vicinity of the water

The Club's RC yacht sailing guidelines require all members using RC yachts to wear personal flotation devices when on the water and during launching or recovering their craft.

Two persons to be present in any boat used for recovery of an RC yacht.

Serious Injury

Club Members either afloat or ashore

A first aid station is provided in the main clubroom. There is a telephone in the main room which is accessible and can be used to make emergency calls.

Injury from masts or aerials

Club Members

Long aerials to be fitted with "golf ball" and frequency flag for visibility and protection. When not in use RC Yachts to be stored in allocated area to protect vessel and persons.
