Drowning

Club Members who suffer trauma or lose consciousness whilst in the vicinity of the water

Club Rules require all Members afloat to wear personal flotation devices, whether sailing or on the jetties.

Being unable to return to the launching shore

Club Members who are afloat

The lake is bounded on all sides by banks which are accessible and can be used to escape.

Serious Injury

Club Members either afloat or ashore

A first aid station is provided in the main clubroom. There is a telephone in the main room which is accessible and can be used to make emergency calls. Members are advised to only sail in conditions they are competent to handle and to advise others of their location if they are on the water alone.
