  • Wasps in the Woods

    A group of our younger members yesterday discovered a wasps nest in the woods, and were badly stung. Thankfully they are all now doing ok, although they've been left pretty sore. Until the nest has been treated the woods are out of bounds.

  • On Line Applications go Live!

    We are delighted to announce that the days of the paper application form have now gone, and that from now on we will handle applications for membership via our website through an online system. This has been made possible after a lot of hard work by the team who design and deliver Sailing Club Manager, our membership system, and the change will reduce the amount of time it takes to manage membership applications.

    The Andrew Simpson Sailing Foundation was founded to commemorate Andrew aka Bart who tragically drowned whilst practising for the America's Cup. The foundation seeks to drive forward our sport through getting more people afloat and this year we have a DI course which the ASSF are funding - their generosity will help us get more Instructors trained up which means we can get more people sailing.
