The training team are looking at whether or not there is sufficient demand for additional Junior courses in August and would be grateful if members who are interested in learn to sail training for juniors could complete this short survey by 27 June. Dates will then be published with tickets available from early July. The course(s) will only run if there is sufficient demand. Please remember these courses are for members only,

Members will have received a mailing regarding powerboat usage - please make sure you read it and take note of the contents. We are keen to improve our power boating skills at the club and hope more members will take part in our Safety Boat Familiarisation courses, and sign up for the PB2 programmes we will be running in the winter months.

As some of you will be aware, 3 of our club Quba dinghies have sadly developed problems and have cracked hulls. This weekend we start the process of finding replacements - the Quba is now discontinued so we have some decisions to make. Over the next couple of weeks an RS Zest and a Fusion dinghy will be coming to the club for us to test, and we will be asking various members - across

We are delighted to be able to announce that the club has received official recognition from the RYA as a 'British Youth Sailing Recognised Club'. This new scheme has replaced the former Champion Club scheme and provides a new set of criteria for clubs to meet if they wish to attain, and keep, the recognition. The recognition of our junior and youth team's input is great news for them and the club -

to the graduates of our recent L3/S2 course - 15 members took part and achieved either the adult Stage 2 qualification or the Junior Level 3 qualification (which are broadly similar in their skill requirements).
