  • Powerboat skills refresher

    At the end of October/Beginning of November there will be some PB2 refresher sessions available for anyone who has their PB2 but wishes to brush up on their skills. These sessions will be led by our PB Instructors and are an opportunity to get some time on the water handling the boats and practising any rusty skills! Dates to be announced soon!

  • Friday night social sailing update

    Please note that Social Sailing Friday has been cancelled this week (12 July) & next week (19 July). Leisure sailing at your own risk is still possible but club boats will not be available to hire and the safety boat will not be operating. The safety boat is operating all day Saturday 13, Sunday 14, Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 July so there is still plenty of opportunity to get your sailing fix over

    Oppy club!

    New for 2019 - we have 'Oppy club'! The club will run over 4 Saturdays throughout June/July and is aimed at our 7-10 year old with RYA Stages 1/2 who are wishing to get some practice on the water with a chance of signing off some of the RYA competencies.   • Push The Boat Out 2019

    We had a fantastic turnout yet again for PTBO 2019 with 160 visitors attending. Many thanks to everyone who stepped up and helped on the day to welcome our visitors and showcase our facilities. We gained 39 new members from this which is great and our new members are already becoming very active on the water - watch out on the racing start lines for them coming soon!

    Ripons 'One Big Day' Event

    Ripon Sailing Club marked the start of their main season on Saturday 23 March with One Big Day of events and activities. The training team ran an information and introduction session for all the new Dinghy Instructors who have qualified in the last year to go through rigging the club boats, the day also included CPD for the more experienced instructors; other members who are interested in helping at training courses also
