Ripon Sailing Club's latest Level 1 and Stage 1 sailors. Despite really strong winds on Day 1 and light winds coming from every direction on Day 2, everyone had a great time and successfully passed their first RYA awards. Well done everyone and a big thank you to the volunteer instructor/helper team. We're looking forward to hosting the first round of the North East & Yorkshire Youth Traveller series at the club on Saturday 23 April. Over 45 boats have entered so it promises to be a great day. The committee has assessed the field and regrettably found the conditions to be too wet to allow access. Hardstanding will be still be available alongside the club, but please note that there will be no access to the grassed areas for turning or pitching tents.

Icicle Series 1&2 cancelled Regrettably, Icicle series 1 and 2 which were scheduled for tomorrow (6th Feb 2022) have had to be cancelled. Storm Arwen has been reasonably kind to RSC. Members were on site today and whilst a few boats have been blown over there are no reports of major damage. The building and grounds are not in need of any urgent attention and whilst a few things need to be looked at they are not deemed dangerous or high priority.
