Dragon Force 65

Welcome to the DF65 Fleet page, this is the place to find out what we are doing when, keep up to date with the racing or simply find out more about this great little yacht.

From Spring through to Autumn, while the Wagalers afternoon dinghy series is taking place, DF65 racing starts at around 4.30pm every Wednesday. We usually manage to sail around 8 or 10 short sharp races every week so there is always a chance to recover from that poor start or mark rounding with the next Port flyer never more than 10 minutes away.
From October to March racing takes place on Wednesday afternoons from about 1-30pm.
If you are interested in joining in just turn up on Wednesday afternoon or e-mail dragon-force@ripon-sc.org.uk we are always keen to see more members taking part.
Yachts come almost ready to race and start around £230-00 including the radio control and batteries, second hand yachts can often be found for much less.

Change to winter sailing times:

Please note that with effect from Wednesday 15th November DF65 racing will now start from 10-00am (racing starts at 10-30am)
The plan will be to sail a few races, stop for a coffee/chat and then continue racing up to around 1-30pm (weather dependant)

The traffic lights are AMBER for Wednesday 22nd November, the forecast is currently for heavy rain so the traffic light status will be reviewed again on Tuesday evening.
