Why don't you come along and join in the training, racing and social activities organised specifically for you?

Ripon Sailing Club is a Volvo Champion Club which means that the RYA works in partnership with the Club to provide high quality Junior (under 16) race training programmes. 

Follow our development programme throughout the season to see a real improvement in your sailing and racing skills, work towards RYA Dinghy Sailing Awards and have fun. It’s all there for you. We look forward to seeing all our Juniors and Youth (under 19) down at the club.

Take a look at the Junior calendar – all the course, races & social activities which are relevant to Juniors pulled out of the Club’s Sailing Calendar.

There is racing suitable for mini-helms with little experience (under 12’s) up to the Junior Points Trophy for the highest placed Junior in the full course RNLI Pursuit Series. There are also plenty of social activities. The season ends with our popular Junior Laying-up Supper when we celebrate the achievements of our Junior sailors.

Ripon Sailing Club has had/currently has Juniors in Team GBR, the RYA Topper National Intermediate Squad, the RYA Mirror National Squad, the RYA Topper North Zone Squad and the Mirror NE Zone Squad.
RSC under 19 sailors are also taking part in YHYSA and NSSA events in a bid to bring the top team trophy back to RSC.
